About This Service
Children & Families services at BE HIVE are built on one truth: strong families create strong communities. This service exists to support children, teens, and caregivers navigating the real challenges of family life — attachment wounds, behavioral struggles, trauma exposure, parenting stress, and the complexities of co-parenting, blended families, and child welfare involvement.
Who It's For:
- 🐝Parents struggling to connect with a child after trauma or disruption
- 🐝Children who are acting out, shutting down, or showing signs of anxiety or emotional dysregulation
- 🐝Teens navigating identity, peer pressure, or family conflict
- 🐝Families involved in or recently exited from the child welfare system
- 🐝Foster and adoptive families building new attachments
What You'll Experience:
Evidence-based interventions including Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-up (ABC), and play therapy — approaches proven to rebuild secure attachment and restore family functioning. Parenting classes are offered with personalized curriculum, not one-size-fits-all lectures. Youth mentorship and empowerment workshops help teens build confidence and identity.
How You'll Benefit:
Strengthened parent-child bonds. Improved communication and emotional regulation within the family system. Children who feel safer, more secure, and better equipped to thrive. Parents who feel supported, equipped, and less alone.
Services are available insurance-billed through our PLLC, or free for families connected to child welfare through our Non-Profit grant-funded division.
