About The Queen BE

Dr. Danielle Beaumont, DSW, LCSW
LCSW, SIFI
Founder & CEO, BE HIVE Network
"At The HIVE, they call me Queen BE—not because I wear a crown, but because I built a space where you're encouraged to just BE."
Here, I invite you to be YOU, REAL, STRONG, SUCCESSFUL, TOGETHER, REFRESHED, INFORMED, ACTIVE, PAWSITIVE, and rooted in BLACK EXCELLENCE.
This is a space to show up as your full self—unfiltered, unshamed, and unapologetic. Healing, growth, and power start when you give yourself permission to BE all that you are.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate with my Doctor of Social Work in Aug 2026, and most importantly, I'm a real one who's been through the fire and came out still standing.
I didn't come from privilege or prep school. I'm not spoon-fed, picture-perfect, or straight-to-grad-school polished. I'm from the struggle—the real-life, "how we gon' pay for this?" kind. My healing didn't come from textbooks alone. It came from survival. From betrayal. From holding it down when nobody had me. That's exactly why BE HIVE was born—to create a space where people like us can heal, grow, and rise without judgment, shame, or code-switching.

Academic Excellence
Education
Built in the classroom. Refined in the community.
Simmons University
Doctor of Social Work
Graduating Aug 2026 · Concentration: Leadership, Education, and Advanced Clinical Practice · GPA: 3.94
I will earn my DSW at Simmons University in August 2026 — a program that has challenged me to deconstruct outdated systems and reimagine leadership rooted in equity, healing, and liberation. My focus is on disrupting the status quo in therapy, education, and community work, blending clinical expertise with bold advocacy and real-world leadership. I developed advanced skills in systemic policy change, curriculum development, DEIPAR frameworks, and trauma-informed supervision. I didn't just want a seat at the table — I built a new one.
Adelphi University
Master of Social Work (MSW)
May 2021 · Concentration: Mental Health, Substance Abuse & Trauma · GPA: 3.81
Adelphi gave me the clinical foundation I needed — but I made it my own. I leaned heavily into trauma-informed practice and direct work with marginalized communities. I specialized in co-occurring disorders, grief, domestic violence, and the unique intersections of racial trauma and survival. I learned to navigate systems while advocating for change inside them. This program helped sharpen my voice, validate my lived experience, and build the blueprint for the healing spaces I now create.
Delaware State University (HBCU)
Bachelor of Science in Psychology
Summa Cum Laude · GPA: 3.77 · Graduated in 3 Years
My DSU journey was about more than academics — it was about belonging. I chose this HBCU because I was tired of feeling out of place, tired of code-switching, and tired of carrying racial trauma in every classroom. At DSU, I finally felt seen. I was active in the Psychology Club (served as Secretary), joined the Honors Society, participated in sports, and pushed myself to accelerate and graduate in just three years. DSU wasn't just school — it was home, healing, and the beginning of my advocacy fire.
